About This Exhibition
Alla Prima brings together works created in a single, uninterrupted sitting — paint applied wet-on-wet, with no time for revision or second thought. This exhibition celebrates the raw honesty of instinct over precision, capturing artists at their most immediate and unguarded.
Spanning contemporary painters working in this centuries-old technique, the collection reveals how spontaneity can hold as much depth as deliberation. Each piece on view was completed in a matter of hours, not weeks — a race against drying paint and shifting light.

What Makes This Exhibition Unique
Unlike traditional exhibitions where pieces are revised and refined over weeks, every work here was completed in a single sitting. Visitors often notice small imperfections — a smudge, a hesitant brushstroke — left intentionally untouched, offering a rare, unfiltered look into the artist's process.
